About Us

Cargomind, founded in 2005, is a logistics service provider with roots dating back to 1976. Specializing in air and ocean freight, the privately owned company has its home base in Austria and is considered a pioneer in Eastern Europe.

With 28 branches in 14 countries, we cover most of Central and Eastern Europe, and we are globally connected through a partner network. We act independently as consultants and specialists for our customers, selecting reliable transport routes and carriers with the utmost care.

Our team of 325 experienced air and ocean freight experts, together with the high-tech logistics division, provides our customers with tailor-made services, ensuring high flexibility and fast response times.

Pallet racking warehouses covering more than 21,000 m2 are available in Austria, Hungary, the UK and Ireland. Inbound and outbound processes, as well as transfers, are tracked in real-time using a warehouse management system.

With a turnover of €131 million and over 75,000 shipments in 2024, Cargomind stands for excellence and reliability in the logistics industry.

President

Uwe Glaser

Uwe, our founder, has been a transformative force in the transportation industry for over 60 years. He began his career at SAS in 1963 and soon became Cargo Sales Manager at Austrian Airlines. In 1971, he established the air freight division at Kühne & Nagel Austria, and in 1976, he founded Cargoplan, quickly achieving market leadership in Austria. His vision led to the creation of Cargoline in 1984, which he developed into a multinational company with 35 offices in 12 countries and over 600 employees. Following Cargoline’s acquisition, he served as Regional Director for DHL/Danzas until 2004. 

As President of Cargomind, Uwe oversees 28 locations in 14 countries. His leadership continues to shape our team’s work, driving global success and inspiring a commitment to reliability and excellence in every aspect of our operations.

Managing Director Austria

Paul Glaser

Paul holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Vienna University of Technology. He began his career in 1997 as a business consultant in the financial services sector at Ernst & Young before joining Cargoline as CIO in 1999, where he oversaw the integration of IT systems into DHL/Danzas. Since joining Cargomind, Paul has led the development of the company’s IT infrastructure, including the implementation of Cargo IQ. In 2010, he took over responsibility for the air freight division at Vienna Airport. Today, as Managing Director for Cargomind (Austria) GmbH, Paul oversees operations at the head office and manages the 20,000 m² warehouse at the Vienna Freudenau container terminal, focusing on strategic growth, operational efficiency, and technology-driven improvements.

Chief Operating Officer

Arnulf Schoeberl

Arnulf holds a masters degree in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. His career began in 1991 with Austrian Airlines, where he held various senior management positions, including GM Cargo Sales Worldwide and Deputy EVP Cargo. In 2010, he was appointed General Manager of the newly established Austrian Lufthansa Cargo, and in 2012 he was appointed Regional Manager for Lufthansa Cargo, responsible for Austria and several neighboring countries. Since 2017, Arnulf has been Chief Operating Officer of the Cargomind Group, ensuring efficient operations across the group’s international offices. He also plays a key role in developing strategies to drive Cargomind’s growth.

Chief Financial Officer

Thomas Klinglhuber

Thomas holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Since 1993, he has held management roles overseeing finance, HR, IT, and logistics across the banking sector and in various private sector industries. He joined Cargomind Group as CFO in 2008, where he is responsible for financial accounting and controlling and leads the accounting team at the shared service center in Vienna, ensuring strong financial oversight and supporting the company’s growth.
