Our Swiss air freight team is located directly in the cargo terminal at Zurich Airport. This allows for a smooth handling of all shipments through direct contact with all airlines, ground handling service providers such as Cargologic and dnata, and the customs authorities.

Zurich Airport (ZRH) is the central hub for Swiss air freight traffic and the hub for Swiss Airlines. In total, around 60 airlines fly directly to over 200 destinations.

EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg (MLH, BSL, EAP) is located in France, close to the Swiss border. The airport is jointly operated by two countries, making it unique in the world. The location is also of great importance for the south-west region of Germany, which is why the airport is also called Freiburg. Due to its strategic location, it is considered a logistics stronghold, particularly for high-value and pharmaceutical cargo.

Geneva Airport (GVA) supports air freight in western Switzerland and offers strong international connections, especially for time-critical and specialised goods.

Juan Pablo Giraldo

Juan Pablo, a graduate in international business from EAFIT University, has over 23 years of logistics experience. He started his career at Kuehne & Nagel Colombia, gaining expertise in airfreight before becoming the Cargo IQ expert for the Americas, where he helped implement IATA’s Cargo IQ standards. He later worked in New York and Costa Rica, setting up Kuehne & Nagel’s global shared service center for air freight. After moving to Switzerland to focus on global data quality initiatives, Juan Pablo joined Cargomind in 2023 as Managing Director for Switzerland, overseeing the growth of air and ocean freight operations in Zurich.
