Managing Director

Michael Kukla

Michael trained with Schenker in 1989 and started his career in the air freight department before joining Cargoline in 1993. He soon progressed to Key Account Manager for Kintetsu and was appointed Managing Director for the Czech Republic in 1996, where he successfully grew Cargoline CZ and led a team of 22 employees through the DHL/Danzas merger. Fluent in English, Czech, and German, Michael brings extensive international experience to his role. He has led Cargomind's Czech operations since 2005, overseeing both the Prague and Brno offices. His focus on operational efficiency and market expansion has strengthened Cargomind's position in the region.

Air Freight Export Team Leader

František Kovařík

František graduated from the Czech University of Agriculture in 2002 with a master's degree in business administration. He started his career in forwarding at Panalpina Czech Republic in the air freight export department. In 2010, František joined Cargomind's Air and Ocean Freight Export team and was promoted to Team Leader of the Air Freight Export team in 2015. His focus on operational efficiency and exceptional customer service has been instrumental in the continued success of the department. František holds an IATA DGR certificate and combines excellent industry knowledge with strong relationships throughout the industry, making him a valuable leader within the team.

Air Freight Import Team Leader

Martin Matějka

Martin started his career in logistics after graduating from secondary school in 1999 with a focus on construction. He gained experience in airfreight import at Transped (Schier Otten) from 2000 to 2003 and DHL Danzas from 2003 to 2006, before moving to airfreight export at Cargo Partner until 2008. In 2008, Martin joined Cargomind, specializing in air and ocean freight import. His dedication and expertise led to his promotion to Air Freight Import Team Leader in 2015. With years of experience, extensive industry knowledge and a focus on operational efficiency and customer service, Martin plays a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Operations Manager & Ocean Freight Manager 

Jaromír Hájek

Jaromír graduated from the Commercial Academy in 1997 and began his career in the foreign trade department of a jewelry company. In 2001, he obtained his license as a customs broker and managed a branch office on the Czech-Polish border for Nieten. Two years later he joined DHL Danzas as a customs broker in the air freight department. In 2005, Jaromír became one of the founding members of Cargomind Czech Republic, starting as a customs broker and air/ocean import specialist. In 2008, he shifted his focus to ocean freight and helped build and expand the ocean freight team. He was appointed Ocean Freight Manager in 2011 and took on additional responsibilities as Operations Manager in 2014, overseeing all operational aspects of the Prague office. From 2020 to 2022, Jaromír ensured smooth operations during the challenges of the Covid disruptions. With his deep expertise in air and ocean freight operations and customs matters, he continues to be a key contributor to the success of the Prague office.

Air Freight Export Pricing Manager & Sales Executive

Pavla Nešporová

After graduating from the Commercial Academy in Prague, Pavla started her career in logistics in 1998 in the airfreight export department of Cargoline. Following the merger of Cargoline with Danzas DHL, she joined Panalpina in 2002, where she was promoted to Air Export Supervisor. In 2006, Pavla joined Cargomind as Export Manager and played a key role in establishing and ensuring the success of the air freight export department. After 2014, she shifted her focus to sales and pricing support, and since 2019, she has been working as Air Freight Export Pricing Manager and Sales Executive, leveraging her extensive industry knowledge and strong network. Known for her excellent relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners, Pavla's enthusiasm and expertise make her an invaluable member of the team.

Fun fact: Pavla formerly coached the Czech men’s national field hockey team and is a decorated former field hockey player herself, winning multiple Czech titles with Slavia Prague team and a bronze medal at the 2022 World Cup for Women Over 40 with the Czech national team.
